HE, Step into Hertz Power!

     DIE-CAST HEATSINKS have been employed on the HE line; robust, yet thermally optimized. Cosmetic detail and functionality have been mated, creating a unique look with enhanced thermal performance. The silver colour shrouds found on each end of the amplifier complete the cosmetic appeal and play another important role, as they hide all of the connections, creating a very clean and hi-tech installation.

     HE ELECTRONICS are based on a robust power supply stage and a powerful output stage. Multiple winding transformers and high current 105°C Electrolytic capacitors are employed, along with low RDS Mosfets, selected to ensure high efficiency and current capability. HE 2 and HE 4 are equipped with SANKEN TO3P output transistors, while HE 1 D features a Class-D output stage based on solid TO247 power Mosfets, also employed in the Synchro D-Class circuit. This technology provides synchronization of the switching frequencies used in both the power supply and output stages, resulting in a Signal/Noise ratio of up to 100dBA.

     HE IN is an input that provides the ability to interface the HE line with either OEM (Speaker In) or Aftermarket (RCA In) headunits. With this pseudo-balanced design, HE IN provides noise-free installation in any type of system design. The ART™ circuit avoids the need for a remote turn on/off signal from the headunit. When used with speaker level inputs, the HE amplifier turns on/off automatically with the headunit, without the “clicks” and “pops” associated with lesser quality designs.

     HE STATUS LOGO allows the user to visually monitor the status of the amplifier in real time. The logo lights up a cool blue colour when the amplifier is working correctly, changing into an orange colour when it enters into protection status: Output Short Circuit, Continuous Output Current, Thermal protection and RGP - Resettable Ground Protection (short between the amplifier’s outputs and the vehicle’s chassis).
